Several of the long term posters at SPEED.com have come together and looked at our options. NBC Sports’ message boards are a joke so we decided instead of being at their mercy we would establish an independent forum to continue where the SPEED boards left off.

We have named it Motorsports Mayhem.

We have done this at no personal gain for ourselves. No one is making a dime off this site. All the revenue from the ads you will see is going to the forum hosting company Zetaboards.

The Moderation of the boards will be very hands off.

    Hope to see you there.

As I understand it, this site will be up for at least another year, perhaps more.

I'm wondering if they will keep SPEED2. Seems like most of the programming material there is delayed Euro racing, live streams from ConTi and some qualifying. It would be nice to have WEC, DTM, BTCC etc still available in the off season.

Frankly SPEED as a channel has been lacking for quite some time now, SPEED.com is far better than the channel for racing news and content imo. I hope FOX keeps the web site up, even better would be to merge the SPEED articles with SPEED2 streaming.

    perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.

Robin Miller was on the radio today, and pretty much said that anything SPEED related will be shut down. Wind Tunnel, Speed Center, all gone.

Shoot, I just come back here after many months away, just in time to say good-by. Oh well, I already dropped SPEED from my cable service (Comcast). Nine years on this forum. Very educational. Be seeing you.

I've been gone for a long time now myself. Just checked to see if this forum was still around. I guess it is, sort of. These forums were great before Speed became a joke. The only show I still enjoyed on Speed was Wind Tunnel, and now that is only a half hour a week. It's sad to see what has become of speed. At least NBC sports network is attempting to be a destination for race fans.
