Nascar has lost its appeal to me.

I am officially a non nascar fan.
I have been a fan for 40 years untill now.
There is no point to the racing, get the end , you stand a chance to win .
Sometimes a caution willl be thrown,(green white checkers ) not today,,, very inconsistent.
I will wait for football season.......

NASCAR works very hard at ruining a one-time great series. But there is still the element of drivers performing highly difficult duty in the course of every race. And that is the one redeeming value that earns and maintains my respect.

Why do people even still watch football? You like watching men in tights playing with balls?

I've never found a track or a sanctioning body that I liked once I got too involved with the judgement calls and politics.

I prefer to just watch the race and not get too wrapped up in that. I enjoy racing too much to get pissed off and stop watching.

As children we look at sports and see the games and races for their action, as adults we see more politics - not that we want to, but we have become adults and know that politics makes the show go.

    Which duty is that?

You forgot the part about how these sweaty men in tights prance around a field together and grind against one another... while playing with balls.

I'd also like to mention that I had renamed it "handball" because "foot" has little business being in the name. Feet spend a few seconds out of an entire game in contact with the ball, while the rest of the time it's held with hands, thrown with hands, and caught with hands. "Soccer" is the real football, and is known as such in the other 220+ countries around the world.

nascar is the WWE on wheels. Has been for the last 15 years or so. It quit meaning something a long time before that. Unfortunately the sheeple keep going to that bs called racing. It has even helped kill Indycar although F'ing Tony George had help from little Billy France and and The Bern.

So what you're saying is that you don't know what you are talking about. Good to know.

The Speed Channel and all the other announcers are killing it for me as well...
Drinking the Speed channels kool aid....with the " really you can trust me" attitude...like they have no reason to be biased in favor of NAStyCAR. I love the question today they supposedly had fans vote on..Does Penske's punishment fit the crime? ......CRIME wtf there was no CRIME... their MIGHT have been a rules violation....but no CRIME has been committed except possibly slander on the part of the SPEED channel and its psuedo announcers....unreal the total lack of an IQ amongst this bunch.
