I spent an extra hour watching the Whelan Modified race at Daytona. You'd think no one had ever seen a stalled car before -- if NASCAR were running at a real short-track, the fans would have burned it down. Unbelievable inefficient.
So I had no time left to watch the K&N race which started an hour late. Not knowing when that would start or end, I set my PVR to record the re-run the next morning, adding an extra 1 1/2 hours to cover the possibility that it would start late because of the prior Whelan over-time re-run.
Guess what? My PVR recorded at the right time. Speed, however, decided to start the race EARLY -- my coverage started smack on lap . . . 15.
It's not rocket science, folks. If you decide to start a show EARLY, no one knows about it, so no one can compensate for it. I have no idea how you jammed a 2 1/2 hour Whelan race into 1 1/2 hours, but you actually managed to do it in less time in order to start the K&N race EARLY!
I wanted to watch all the racing that you promised to show at Daytona this speed weeks, and I loyally watched a 1 1/2 race that ran 2 1/2 hours long, repeated commercial after repeated commercial. But you wrecked my coverage of the K&N race -- I didn't know who was racing, where they started, who had been knocked out, etc., etc. Sometimes you folks are as ignorant to your fans as NASCAR is. We deserve a little more respect than that.
You must have missed the constant commercials for their latest brainfart, Are you dumber then dirt. Great show!![]()
