IndyCar - another major mistake by management

NASCAR is having its first major dirt race since 1970, while we still have street parades. We have learned nothing from the failures of CART and ChampCar.

Yet another poor fool who doesn't understand reality.

The street races are where IndyCar makes it's money. IndyCar cannot afford to take risks right now - it must stay where it KNOWS it will make money until things improve. Don't like it? TOO BAD. That's the way things are right now. When IndyCar's in better shape financially they can try different things.

And after 2012, "Street parade" is very much an invalid term for IndyCar street circuits since only one of them failed to provide any notable action.

In short, we're stuck with "street parades" because THAT'S WHAT FANS ARE WATCHING.
