Wow.

This guy show three passes that at first appeared to be under yellow flag conditions. He explains why the first two were ok, but the third was obviously illegal. IMHO, the second looked a bit dodgy as well.

I kept wondering after Varsha announced that the stewards were supposedly investigating the yellow-flag incident involving Vettel, if they were ever going to address it again. Waited the entire race and nothing was ever brought up about it again! That in itself was a major blunder on the announcement's team behalf. Any other time throughout the season and the viewers would be continuously reminded about any possible infraction and it's potential consequences. I simply was appalled by the fact that it seemed to be conveniently ignored throughout the rest of the entire race, with nary a quibble.

That the entire championship rests upon this one infraction and is thus compounded by yet another one on behalf of the stewards and Charlie Whiting himself reflects extremely poorly upon them.

It is a tragic shame that these fools let the race run it's course when the penalty should by all rights have been applied early in the contest. If Vettel served the drive-through or was given a time-penalty, at least the correct result would have been gauged at the end of the race, and the correct and legitimate champion crowned. What a travesty!

I was also amazed that not one word was uttered about Vettel's outside-in move that took out Senna in the same turn where everyone else held their line. Dude actually had the nerve the blame Senna after the race.

Although I wonder, will Red Bull now scrutinize every minute of all on-board camera footage for the entire season to check for similar transgressions by other drivers? It could be like holding in the NFL... happens every play, only counts when it is caught.

Sure, there's a flag being waved there, but the color isn't distinguishable in that video against the glare of the gray sky. RBR/Vettel fanboys hailing this as "proof" of a green flag are ... interesting. What's even more interesting is that if you watch Nick G's video above frame by frame in that sequence, there's no flag visible there at all.

At any rate, the FIA should investigate. No doubt they have more information than anything we've seen. If the pass turns out to be legal, then there's no problem.
