Wow what a race, wish I was there in person, awesome track, great battles throughout all five classes and an epic finish. Guy Smith drove his heart out and was able to hold off the hard charging and much much faster HPD in the closing laps. Impossible giant killing win for Dyson.

I have not been a fan of the "Challange" catagories in the past. However, the PC guys put together a pretty good contest. If they can keep the car count up in the catagory it could be something worth watching. I still think of the GTC's as filler, sorry.


Also, guess it's hard to get a race thread going when you have to watch the race itself ON THE COMPUTER.

Hello all,



FOX is converting the SPEED Channel into a regular sports channel. This means the SPEED.com website is basically a dead man walking and the Motorsports forums are as well. It appears our long love/hate relationship with these boards has run its course.



Several of the long term posters at SPEED.com have come together and looked at our options. NBC Sports’ message boards are a joke so we decided instead of being at their mercy we would establish an independent forum to continue where the SPEED boards left off.



We have named it Motorsports Mayhem.

We have done this at no personal gain for ourselves. No one is making a dime off this site. All the revenue from the ads you will see is going to the forum hosting company Zetaboards.

Thanks for doing this! All the boards I previously frequented, especially speedtv, are dead, it seems. Been looking for somewhere to read and post about Grand Am and ALMS.
