    ^ I never knew of that car until doing some learning about old Bathurst yesterday. Saw that Mopar ran it in the early 70's, googled it, and saw that car. All I can say is I like that.
    Man, Aus. had some great muscle cars. And, I see they still do.

    Kinda faded. This was the '66 Ford Fairlane 500 I bought when I got out of the Army in '68. Had the 390GT engine, 4 speed toploader and HD suspension. A real sleeper.

    That would be G to designate the Dan Gurney model, 619 were produced in 1967 and 1968 with 14 of those getting the big 428. Exceptionally cool, and rare, alternative to the Shelby Mustang:
