Re: the dirt GA areas off the walkways, you're absolutely right. In many GA areas, there was no decent place to sit because the ground was just bare dirt. They were extremely lucky with the weather....

I personally did not use the buses, but by most accounts that went well, better than I expected. Kudos to those involved in making that operation a success. There were reports of long 1+ hour waits...
